The Oldest Battle
Kroger: My goal was Orange Leaf that day, when I left my house. What I found, was the sun in the exact position in the day to create a creepy looking shadow behind the pillar. Now a days, when I leave my house on the weekend, I bring my camera. That day was no exception. So, I took many photos. Some of only on pillar, and others with as much as six. In The Oldest Battle, I imagined the dark shadows fighting against the sunlight. In my imagination, I saw the shadows creeping down the pillar to get the jump on the sunlight. It's an odd scenario, but I think it's interesting. After everybody in the Kroger area thought I was crazy, taking photos of pillars, I got some Orange Leaf, and then continued to take some more pictures.

Revealed
Tree: I actually shot this location in the Landscape photoshoot. If you look at Flow Free, you can actually see the tree I photographed in Revealed. If I had to sum up the conditions that I took this photo in one word, I would have to choose "desperation". It was cold, my fingers were freezing, it was beginning to turn night, and I still had to take another reflection photo. Luckily, I found myself back at this same small river or stream, and I saw this small circle of the melted ice. I thought it was very interesting to see the tree reflected in the water, but less in the ice. So of course, I took many photos as fast s I could, and ran back home for some hot chocolate (I found out later that we were out. Bummer).
